Soča Valley bike routes of varying levels of difficulty lead through the most beautiful corners in the Julian Alps. Mountain biking and cycling routes for families attract countless cyclists to the Soča Valley every year.

E-bike Soča Valley or MTB tours around Bovec are one of the most interesting ways to explore the Soča Valley and its mountain background. We have a selection of different guided E-bike Bovec and MTB tours ready for you around Bovec area and Trenta Valley.

Numerous forest trails, roads and cart tracks offer mountain bikers unlimited possibilities, whilst less demanding bikers can take a ride on gentler valley roads and roads across certain plateaus. Enjoy nature, views of the Julian Alps, stops along the Soča river and get to know the story of the valley.

Both E-bike Soča Valley or MTB guided bike tours last from 3 to 4 hours. We adjust the distance to you and your physical capabilities. We can bike from 30 up to 45 km with a normal MTB bike or from 40 up to 60km with an E-bike, depending on your preference. The guided tours are suitable for families, recreationists, smaller groups (max 6 people). Check our Gallery.

EXPLORE SOČA VALLEY WITH A MTB BIKE

Join us on our MTB guided Soča Valley tour with local expert guides who will show you all the secret location of Bovec area and Trenta Valley.

Our tour will start in the center of Bovec from the agency Outdoor Galaxy in the direction of Boka waterfall. Crossing the bridge Log Čezsoški over the Soča river, we will continue our journey on the left bank of the Soča river towards Trenta Valley passing the village of Čezsoča and later on some of the hanging bridges where we will have a short stop. The well-maintained gravel road will lead us to the magical Lepena Valley where we will be able to admire the Great Soča gorge and Šunik waterfalls. We will round our biking adventure in the direction of Svinjak mountain by passing the village of Kal Koritnica and the river of Koritnica and later slowly ending our journey in the center of Bovec.

EXPLORE SOČA VALLEY WITH AN E-BIKE

E-bike guided Soča Valley tour or E-bike Bovec is the best way to explore hidden stories, mystic locations and historical places that the valley is offering to all adventures people who are sikking for new stories.

Our tour will start in the center of Bovec in the agency Outdoor Galaxy where we rent E-bikes. We will start to cycle into the direction of Virje waterfall. After visiting the waterfall we will countinue our tour passing the Bovec Golf Club towards the highest waterfall in Slovenia the great Boka. Crossing the bridge Log Čezsoški over the Soča river, we will continue our journey on the left bank of the Soča river towards the Trenta Valley passing the village of Čezsoča and later on we will start our climb to reach one of the most amazing viewpoint – Javoršček. It is only 350m altituide difference, but the views are breathtaking. On the way to Lepena – Trenta Valley we will also admire some of the hanging bridges where we will have a short stop.

Later on the well-maintained gravel road will lead us to the magical Lepena Valley where we will be able to admire the gorge of the Soča river and Šunik waterfalls. We will not forget the local village road from Lepena to the village of Soča where we will round our biking adventure in the direction of Svinjak mountain by passing the village of Kal Koritnica and the river of Koritnica and later slowly ending our journey in the center of Bovec.

The best way to experience the Soca valley for sure is with a bike tour. We had the most amazing three days with Miha and Mateja exploring the Soča Valley and beyond.Both Miha and Mateja are very experienced and knowledgeable drivers and guides, who go out of their way to make clients happy whilst always providing useful information and insights on the country and region.They are of course experts in the Soča Valley and surrounding area, and are able to organise outdoor activities for guests as well as local tours.In our case Mateja took us around the region in a driving tour, including accompanying us to exclusive wine tastings in the Goriska Brda region and a short trip to Italy in Friuli.They are also experts in Slovenia in general: Miha drove us around the country to and from Llubjana to see some of the best known sights such as Bled, as well as a few amazing off the beaten track locations.Finally they can organise very reasonably priced transfers to/from Ljubljana or Venice and more…We would highly recommend them without hesitation !

We did the Bovec E-bike guided tour and saw so many interesting points on our way such as Virje and Boka waterfall, some suspension bridges over Soca river and Soca gorge with great Lepena valley. We had a tour from Bled hotel Triglav to Soca valley and all around Julian Alps with an exceptional driver and tour guide Miha. He told us so many things about the places we visit in Soca valley such us Soca gorge, Waterfall Kozjak, fortress Kluze, history of WW1, Slovenia and their history. We arranged an extensive tour that showed us parts of Slovenia we would never have discovered ourselves. Our tour guide Miha was an amazing driver and very knowledgeable with the history of the areas we visited. Our highlights were Trenta valley with Soca gorge, the Italian WW1 trenches and Tolmin gorge. We also really enjoyed the Goriska brda wine tasting experience. Visited many stunning places that it was not easy to get to by public transport in a short trip. Activities felt safe and well organised - I’d never tried rafting before and it was a lot of fun. Our group of 3 had an amazing tour with Miha. We saw all the major highlights of the area and Miha took amazing photos of our group! Two of us had never ridden an e-bike and Miha did a great job ensuring we felt comfortable on the bikes and tailored the path to our level. Great guide who kindly arranged all of our activities at Soca Valley….. kids loved it and we had the best time. Miha is a great guy who accommodated all our needs and he personally took us on a great bicycle tour with pit stops to refresh in the river which we thoroughly enjoyed!!Definitely recommend Discover Soca Tours if you are at Soca Valley, on our last night he turned up to join us for a drink at our hotel and handed us a little gift, a lovely gesture on his behalf .Thanks Miha !! My girlfriend and I took a guided tour of the Julian Alps, we were in Bled, but they came to pick us up and we did this beautiful tour. We saw amazing waterfalls, large lakes, some incredible mountain scenery and finally the amazing Soca River with its gorge. This incredible nature is worth seeing.

We could not have been happier with our tour with Mateja! We only had one day in the Soča valley and she planned a tour to make sure we saw as much as possible. We had lunch in a charming town, went to a natural wine shop, and had the most magical day exploring. From the first email to the final goodbye, I felt well supported and looked after by Mateja and Miha.As a young female solo traveller, travelling in off season, it would have been impossible to see everything I wanted using public transport. Soča valley is absolutely amazing if you are an adrenaline frick. We used Hotel Boka as our base and Miha form the agency in the hotel arrange some of the activities for us. The highlight was for sure the canyon Fratarica. Don't miss it!
