Such as Zadnja Trenta valley or Bavšica valley, the Great and small gorge of Soča river, typical Trenta houses, beautiful Lepena valley with Šunik waterfall, waterfalls Boka & Virje & Strmec village overlooking the mighty Loška wall etc. We will visit the wild gorges of the Soča River, suspension bridges, several waterfalls, and one of them is the highest and most watery in Slovenia. Soča Valley is for sure one of the most beautiful hiking destinations in Europe. The reasons are the great Julian Alps, Triglav National Park and the emerald beauty Soča River. The Soča Valley boasts the tallest and mightiest peaks of the Julian Alps. Marked trails lead from the valley to wild and untamed corners high in the mountains, including Triglav (2864 m), Slovenia’s highest mountain.
There are many circular and themed trails, which acquaint visitors with the heritage of these places. It is possible to combine sightseeing with a walking or a hiking tour. It is also possible to go for a ramble in the woods and gorges, and there are plenty of footpaths leading to mountain villages above the valleys.
