Our favorite tour and the best way to explore the Julian Alps, Trenta and the Triglav National Park. Full day trip in unspoiled nature with stories and history of the First World War and enjoying some of the most spectacular views in unique alpine world.
After passing the town of Kranjska Gora and further over the Predil mountain pass (1.156 m), we descend into the Soča valley. On the way to Bovec we will have a couple of short stops (Jasna lake, Zelenci Nature Reserve, Predil lake, village of Strmec and Fortress of Kluže).
Before lunch we will see Boka waterfall, the famous Log Čezsoški bridge and the village of Čezsoča.
After lunch we will continue our way to Trenta Valley and Triglav National Park with the Great and small Soča gorge, numerous suspension bridges, the village of Trenta with the last stop on the Vršič pass (1613m).

If you want to extend the tour, we drive to Kobarid and the Kozjak waterfall. Kobarid is a historical town. It is known also for its gastronomy and good wines. A possible stop for tasting exclusive natural wines of Slovenia. Or visit a WW I museum. In this case we skip Vršič pass and we drive back to Ljubljana along the Soča river.
