DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LJUBLJANA

Transfer to your accommodation.

Take a leisurely walk around Ljubljana’s old town, exploring attractions like Preseren Square, Ljubljana Castle, and the Triple Bridge. Enjoy dinner in one of LJ’s restaurants or funky bistros.

DAY 2: CULTURAL EXPLORATION OF LJUBLJANA

Begin the day with a guided walking tour of Ljubljana, visiting cultural sites and the Ljubljana Cathedral. Explore Tivoli Park and visit the Jakopic Gallery if time allows. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat cruise along the Ljubljanica River, admiring the city’s architecture from a different perspective. Enjoy dinner or explore Ljubljana’s vibrant food scene on your own.

DAY 3: LAKE BLED AND VINTGAR GORGE

Depart Ljubljana for lake Bled, an iconic Slovenian destination. Take a leisurely walk around lake Bled, visiting Bled Castle for panoramic views of the lake and surrounding Alps. Visit Vintgar gorge, where wooden walkways allow for easy exploration of the stunning natural scenery. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near Lake Bled. In the afternoon, driving to explore the beautiful lake Bohinj Overnight or Bled or Bohinj area.

DAY 4: SOČA VALLEY OVER VRŠIČ PASS

Depart from Bled/Bohinj in the morning and driving towards Bovec and Soča Valley with tops on the way Zelenci Nature Reserve and lake Jasna. Driving over Predel pass with stunning views on Julian Alps to enter the Soča Valley. On the way to Bovec we make stops along the Soča river (the Great and small Soča gorge, Šunik waterfalls and fortress of Kluže). Lunch on the way. DAY 5: RAFTING & SOČA VALLEY SIGHTSEEING

Starting the morning with a rafting trip, after the trip lunch and in the afternoon we drive to Kobarid to see the Kozjak waterfall, Napoleon bridge and the Italian Charnel House. Back to Bovec. Return to Bovec for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6: GORIŠKA BRDA & CIVIDALE DEL FRIULI

We will visit the most popular wine region in Slovenia – GORIŠKA BRDA. On the way there we make a stop in the charming italian town of Cividale – under the UNESCO heritage (short walk, time for espresso, Aperol…). Soon we will reach a beautiful landscape known for its wine, fine gastronomy and rich history – Brda. We will visit the typical village of Šmartno and the Gonjače look-out tower, wine tasting won’t be missed. Drive back to Ljubljana through the picturesque Vipava Valley where we stop for the wine tasting and typical cold-cut (cheese, prosciuto…).

DAY 7: DEPARTURE

Check out of your accommodation in Ljubljana. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight, concluding your cultural and scenic journey through Slovenia.
